6 月 3 日晚，吉林外国语大学泰语村开展了一场泰国文化专题交流活动，国际商学院的泰国交流学者坤皮拉瓦迪・纳瓦基特派通（Kumpirawadee Nawakitpaitoon）与校内四十余名泰语专业学生齐聚一堂，共赴一场沉浸式泰文化对话。整场交流历时一小时，现场氛围热烈融洽，泰方学者讲解生动详实，同学们踊跃互动、积极提问。
交流中，学者依托泰国 5F 软实力发展框架，系统介绍泰国文旅产业现状，围绕泰餐、泰拳、传统节庆、影视时尚、康养旅游等特色产业展开分享，解读泰国依托本土日常文化打造全球文旅吸引力的发展路径，同时细致介绍泰国各大高校办学特色、留学交流渠道与人才培养政策。
同学们借此深入了解泰国文旅经济、非遗文化保护及对外教育合作情况，直观感受泰国以亲民文化构建软实力的独特优势。此次活动搭建起中泰青年文化沟通桥梁，拓宽学子国际视野，助力大家深化专业认知，为后续中泰语言、文旅领域交流学习打下良好基础。
Thai Culture Exchange Salon Held at Thai Language Village of JISU
On the evening of June 3, a special Thai cultural exchange event was hosted at the Thai Language Village of Jilin International Studies University. Thai visiting scholars KumpirawadeeNawakitpaitoongathered with more than 40 Thai-language majors from the university for an immersive dialogue on Thai culture. The one-hour exchange session was filled with a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
The Thai scholars delivered vivid and detailed presentations, while students actively engaged in interactions and raised questions enthusiastically. Drawing on Thailand’s 5F Soft Power framework, the scholars systematically introduced the current development of Thailand’s cultural tourism industry. They shared insights on signature sectors including Thai cuisine, Muay Thai, traditional festivals, film and fashion, as well as wellness tourism, and elaborated on how Thailand boosts its global tourism appeal through its authentic daily culture. In addition, they provided detailed information about the educational features of Thai universities, overseas exchange programs and talent cultivation policies.
Through this event, students gained in-depth knowledge of Thailand’s cultural tourism economy, intangible cultural heritage preservation and international educational cooperation, and directly experienced Thailand’s unique soft power built on approachable folk culture. Serving as a bridge for cultural communication between Chinese and Thai youth, this activity broadened students’ global horizons, deepened their professional understanding, and laid a solid foundation for future exchanges and studies in Sino-Thai language and cultural tourism fields.
